Hi Everyone!

TheSims3 Puzzle Gadget version 1.53 is now available for download. It includes many changes, enhancements, and additions and I thought I would tell you about them. New features are highlighted green, while changes are in orange.

Changes and Additions:

1) New! Three puzzle faces for you to solve. (now has 14 instead of 11)
2) New! About gadget flyout.
3) New! How to Play flyout.
4) New! Gadget Update Center
5) Change: fixed font issues and corrected some sizes.
6) Change: icons on the puzzle gadget to a: clock, magnifying glass, and check mark.
7) Change: updated the gadget properties and slimmed them down to only house the puzzle face changer.

The new About flyout lists all of the gadgets details, the creator, and as promised, the fansites that have promoted or have mentioned the gadget on their site(s).

The new How to Play flyout gives you the legend (what the icons mean on the gadget), tells you how to play, and tells you how to change the puzzle face.

Never miss a gadget update again! The new Gadget Update Center will tell you what version you have, the latest version, and if there is a new version available. It will then allow you to download the latest/new version of the gadget or give you more information by linking to this BBS thread. (Note: for a successful check for updates, you MUST keep the Update Center flyout open while "checking for updates...")

If you have downloaded the previous build you can sure keep it if you want! However, if you want only the new one to display in your Add Gadgets (for Sidebar) window here is what you do.

To uninstall the old build: *note: the gadget MUST NOT be running when trying to uninstall.

1) Open "Add Gadgets" on Windows Sidebar.
2) Locate TheSims 3 Puzzle gadget (the old build).
3) Right-click on the icon for the old TheSims3 Puzzle.
4) Click "Uninstall" from the menu that pops-up.

The gadget has then been put into your Recycle Bin, which you can empty.
